Can You Burn Belly Fat?

There is a lot of discussion about burning fat in “spot specific” areas. The research has typically told us that you can’t burn fat in just one area. So what do we do to get rid of the hips and thunder thighs? What about the spare tire? There are real ways to make this happen. First you must realize that you must maintain a great hormone profile to keep our body fat low. Yes it is about calories in and calories burned during exercise and daily activity, however, our hormones are the keys that unlock our fitness potential. It is good to get a blood test from your doctor or a nutritionist to find out what your strong and weak areas are. For example, to lose the spare tire, you would be wasting your tine doing 45 minutes of walking every day. You have higher than normal estriol (one of the 3 main estrogens) levels and would greatly benefit from higher intensity, short duration, resistance workouts at about 20 minutes. Learn your weak areas and you will be able to reach your goals in fitness and fat loss.
