Does Exercise = Weight Loss?

Do you ever see anyone in your gym that is overweight and they are the same weight year after year? This is the same person that you see on the treadmill morning after morning. So why don’t they lose any weight? The secret lies in the intensity that is put into the workout. Our body has an adaptive ability that gets use to any particular activity if repeated for a particular period of time. We have to constantly give it change in order to create the change we are looking for. The best strategy for exercise is to mix things up every 4 weeks. Regardless of the activity: if its cardio training, weight lifting, running, biking, or swimming. Strive to create new routines. You will keep the body and the metabolism guessing and this will stimulate new success in your weight loss efforts. Remember that the body you desire is found in the kitchen first, and then the gym. Make sure you have successful eating strategies in place to create the type of health and fitness that you desire.
