Resistance training has become a large topic of discussion lately. Isn’t walking enough? What about gardening? In order to increase your lean body mass and crank up your fat-burning capabilities, resistance training is a must. For the best results research has said to start with at least 3 days per week of some form of resistance training for at least 20 minutes. Some call it functional training. The exercise videos with full body workouts are great. I enjoy weight training as a great way to attain and maintain lean body mass. You will skyrocket your good hormones like testosterone, thyroid, and growth hormone. This will lead to what we call a growth environment or “anabolic” environment. Add some resistance training to your weekly routine and watch the pounds drop and your energy levels soar. Make sure to get a great lifestyle coach that can help you in your journey so you learn correct form and the basics.
